Hazard and Risk Management

We assist you to identify hazards within the workplace and build processes that enable you to effectively manage the risks.  Our WHS Management Systems include the identification of relevant hazards within the business and development of processes to control those risks, e.g., dangerous goods, hazardous substances, manual handling, electrical safety.  Effective risk management not only improves worker health and safety, but it also reduces the number and severity of workplace injuries, illnesses, and costs, reduces equipment damage, and helps to promote innovation, improved quality, and productivity of work.      

We work collaboratively with you to develop Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which identify and control health and safety hazards and risks.  Both SWMS and SOP’s break down activities into a series of basic steps or tasks, analyse each part of the activity for hazards and potential incidents and describe the control measures to reduce the risk. 

The use of SWMS and SOP’s provide specific instructions on how to safely perform a work-related task or operate a piece of plant or equipment.  They help to plan activities so that they can be completed efficiently and effectively, provide proof that you are completing tasks safely and legally, assist with meeting WHS training requirements, can assist with improved productivity, and provide a competitive edge when tendering for projects.
