Why Wellness Matters
It allows us to sustain everything we do. Maintaining an optimal level of wellness is critical in order to live a higher quality life. Wellness matters because everything we do, every choice we make, and every emotion we feel relates to our well-being. In turn, our well-being directly affects our actions and emotions. It’s an ongoing cycle. Therefore, it is crucial for everyone to become aware of, achieve and maintain optimal wellness in order to subdue stress, reduce the risk of illness and ensure positive interactions.
Our six dimensions of Wellness are Physical, Spiritual, Emotional, Financial, Career, and Social. Each dimension is equally critical in our pursuit of optimum health. We can reach an optimal level of wellness by understanding how to maintain and optimize each of the dimensions of wellness.
